DJ LINUS, began his career in 1989 in Munich, Germany and since then he has grown into one of the most respected and talented DJ/remixer/house music producer coming out of Germany. His accomplishments have been noted by three of the biggest German music magazines (Frontpage, Groove, Raveline), which DJ LINUS is continuously voted as one of the best house music DJ/Producers. Raveline, in particular, voted him #1 artist. His releases "Squirrel (ed)", "Mandarin Lounge" and "Bar-B-Q" were international club smash hits and have been listed in the charts of well respected magazines such as the UK-DJ Magazines, Mixmag and Muzik. DJ icons like Tony Humphries, Ricky Morrison, Paul "Trouble" Anderson, Gusto, Roger S., Kevin Saunderson, Armand Van Helden and many more have played and charted his music all over the world.

Releases like "Bar-B-Q" were voted by UK's dance-magazine, Muzik, as "record of the month" (8/'96) . US-Streetsound magazine selected DJ LINUS as one of the hottest new breakout house producers in the world today !

Finally, DJ LINUS has released his long awaited debut album "Fantasmagorique" on which he is giving us the full range of disco-house, deep house, progressive house, nu-skool and one hip hopish-downbeat vocal track all with the typical DJ LINUS flavor.

Recently, DJ Linus and Pufo, who is probably one of the Germany;s most respected abstract and ambient producer launches a new vinyl on Compose Records called "Downtown Gigolos". No, this is not an information we've got from their girlfriend's, it's there new project name. This vinyl is already receiving overwhelming attention in the UK charts, for it is one of the best Nu-skool, disco, house tunes around.

With the launch of his new own label "EX-UN" Records ( EXperimental UNderground ) in December 1997, DJ Linus will start a new subsidiary for Compose records. This label will be DJ Linus' playground for alternative underground house music.
